about

added much later as a bonus

This song is driven a little harder than I usually play. I was listening to some early Cabaret Voltaire recently and maybe it rubbed off.

I'm still getting used to a number of modules in my eurorack synth and learning how to get a good sync when slaving the Beatstep Pro from the clock in my eurorack.

The sounds are as follows. The first rhythm is Moog Mother 32. The second drum that comes in is a Noise Engineering Basimilus Iteritas Alter that is run into a Z-Vex Instant Lo-Fi Junky and a Roland Demora. The Basimilus is modulated by Make Noise Pressure Points and Maths and 4MS PEG. The bass sound is a Mutable Instruments Braids modulated by a Mutable Instruments Peaks LFO. Finally the higher resonant sound is Mutable Instruments Rings modulated by a Music Things Modular Turing Machine and run through a Whimsical Raps Sisters filter that is modulated by the Mutable Instruments Peaks LFO. The entire song is clocked with a Noise Engineering Horologic Solum/Uter and sequenced with and Arturia Beatstep Pro.
